Target Species
Our target species on these trips is, of course, Red Snapper, but there are dozens of other hard-fighting and great-eating species we may catch. These include king mackerel, amberjack, grouper, and cobia. These species add to the excitement of our Red Snapper trips, ensuring a memorable and rewarding day on the water—you never know what you’re going to reel in!
Where We Fish
We’re heading around 30 miles off the coast to target Red Snapper in deeper waters, often around artificial reefs, oil rigs, and natural ledges.
These structures provide an ideal habitat for snapper, offering shelter and a plentiful food supply. We’re typically bottom fishing with live or dead baits like shrimp, squid, or cut bait. If we come across any birds, weedlines, or schools of bait, we may make a quick pit stop to target some other species to keep the fight going.
